Allie is having so much fun already in 2nd grade! I am so excited to get to see her on her class blog....here are a few pictures her teachers took from the first week of school.

We have had a great first 3 days of school so far. Allie absolutely LOVES the fact that she is in my grade now and gets to see me everyday. I guess I should hold onto this time because as fast as she is growing, it is just a matter of time before she tells me "Mom, you don't need to walk me to my class anymore :o( " Of course, she is doing really well adjusting to her new classes. She has 2 teachers this year because all of 2nd grade has decided to departmentalize. Miss Overbeck teaches her math, science, and social studies...and Mrs. Shaw is her homeroom teacher and teaches reading and language arts. I am just happy to see glimpses of my sweet girl throughout the day!
