Here is a slideshow from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The kids and I went to church on Christmas Eve and then headed home for Christmas dinner. Since it was just the 3 of us, our meal was pretty lame....rotisserie chicken, steamed corn and rice, pre-made sweet potatoes and rolls. Allie said that it was the best Christmas meal ever!!!! I thought that was pretty funny. This was our first Christmas without Robert being home. It was very quiet and felt a little lonely to me, but the kids seemed to be okay with it. Allie did say it wasn't fair a couple of times, but the delight of Santa coming kept her from being too down about it. I videoed everything so Daddy could watch when he gets home. I just feel so blessed to be able to spend this special time with my sweet babies.

We went to Rob's parents in Corpus. The kids had fun singing karaoke Christmas carols and wearing blinking santa hats. Rob looked the funniest in his because it stuck straight out to the side and was missing the white ball on top. We opened presents at night because Rob was leaving for work the next morning. The kids got a Wii.....but of course I have played it just as much as they have. Colton got a motorized car so he could zip around our cul-de-sac and keep up with all the big kids. We had a great time!

This was the first of many Christmas get togethers this year. This was with my mom's side of the family. We had it at our house. Colton had fun opening his presents. We were all laughing because my nephew Kaden got a gun and was shooting at Colton. Colton did not mind at all because he just got his Handy Manny Saw and used it for a gun. Both toys made lots of noise and the boys had a blast!

We were so bummed in the morning when we woke up. All the snow was melted. Allie did find a little bit of snow left on the trampoline, but after touching it she decided it was too cold to make a snowball. We were a bit rushed because Colton started throwing up....so needless to say I had to stay home from school even though it wasn't canceled because of ice. The picture with this post came from Sarah at school. It captured our feelings when we saw the first flakes while we were at school. We were all screaming and dancing around. We were like kids!! It was priceless.

We had Colton's birthday party with friends on Sunday. He had a great time...I barely saw him because he was playing so much. I was able to get him to sit long enough to blow out his candle, but not long enough to eat his cupcake.
